Some patrons note that during peak times, especially on Saturdays, the service can feel rushed. While many appreciate the efficiency, others prefer a slower pace to enjoy their meals. A few have mentioned that the wait for food can sometimes be longer than expected during busy evenings. Additionally, some diners occasionally find the noise level in the lively atmosphere a bit overwhelming, especially when the pub is at full capacity.
Parking can also be a challenge during busy hours, leading to a bit of a hunt for a spot during peak visitation times. Although street parking is available, planning ahead can make the experience smoother.
Myself, my husband and son came here for the first time tonight whilst on holiday. We had drinks and food. We had the gammon, the steak and my little boy had chicken goujions. It was amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and it was so tender. Amazing prices too. We were made to feel comfortable. We brought games to play at the table so that my son was entertained. The staff were so pleasant and kind. Thankyou for a lovely meal.
Amazing experience here today. Me and my husband went and nothing was to much trouble. The chef Sharon was amazing with the kids and her food was incredible. Had some bad experiences lately in other places and now we've found our regular place thanks to Sharon and the bar staff. Thanks a lot. See you again soon
Great to see this place on the climb! Called in for tea with the family as been hearing the place has improved and they weren’t wrong! Cleaner, smarter and better service. The staff said there was a bit of a wait but it didn’t disappoint when it came out. The lasagna was gorgeous. Top makes all round! Keep it up guys
